The History of Neill Gas
The Waring family, of Vicksburg’s Waring Oil, acquired Neill Butane, Inc. in 1960 and changed the name to Neill Gas, Inc. in 1989. Neill Gas has continually grown, adding new customers in Mississippi and Louisiana.
Neill Gas, Inc. has grown through acquisitions over the years, including:
- 1974: Pride Butane (Vicksburg, MS)
- 1977: McLain Gas (Vicksburg, MS)
- 1989: Empire Gas (Tallulah, LA)
- 1995: Alford Gas (MS Gulf Coast)
- 2006: The Butane Propane Company of B.C. Rogers Oil Company (Morton, MS)
